My dancing began in high school, by accident, and because the art class I really wanted was already full. Being very shy, I dreaded the idea of performing in front of others, but soon realized the movement came easy and it became a fun experience. I’ve danced ever since with various studios in the Triangle, as well as with The Center of Performing Arts, Long Leaf Opera, and Legacy Repertory Company. I am thrilled to continue making dance a regular part of my life with The Dancer’s Workout.
What TDW means to me:
The Dancer’s Workout is the best of both worlds for me. I get to dance without having each movement scrutinized, and I get a great workout. The class is always over before I want it to be, and the workout is very addictive. This is the kind of exercise that really sticks for me.
