I grew up in Raleigh and danced for two area studios beginning with ballet at age three progressing to jazz and in high school, adding contemporary and musical theatre. Dance was a huge part of my upbringing teaching me dedication, discipline and confidence. I danced nearly every day of my life for 15 years straight. I tried other adult classes, but many were either one day a week or offered at times that I just couldn’t do. Three months after starting TDW, I’ve lost 7 lbs, am more toned and have increased my flexibility. The format is perfect for learning choreography while working muscles that have been lazy for too long!
What TDW Means to Me:
From my very first class, I knew TDW was what I was missing. Like most women, my life had become about doing things for others at work, home, school. I was a wife and mother before anything else! TDW is my chance to reconnect to the girl I was growing up and meet other wonderful people who are doing the same. I am more fit, I am making new friends, and I am doing something just for me! It nourishes my mind, body and spirit. I can’t thank Jules enough!
