I started dancing when I was five but never had continuous training until college when I discovered my love for moving to the beat. Hoping it wasn’t too late to pursue it, I signed up for a dance diploma and accomplished it while studying Industrial Engineering. After graduation I continued taking dance lessons and teaching in a Community Center in addition to having a full-time job and living in a very busy city in Mexico City. I didn’t want to stop enjoying this new passion and loved sharing it with young girls. I got married, moved to NC, and searched for a dance class for adults for about a year until I found The Dancer’s Workout. I was beyond excited and felt welcomed from the very first day!
The Dancer’s Workout is empowering – I just feel wonderful after every class. Jules is a very talented dancer and choreographer, but what makes the most of the class is her ability to share her positivity and enjoyment about life, through dancing. On Sundays, instead of dreading the end of the weekend, I now eagerly look forward to each Monday’s noon class where I get to kick off my week with The Dancer’s Workout!
