I began dancing when I was about 3 years old, starting with ballet and then studying modern in high school and college. Dance was always something that brought me so much joy and was a huge part of who I was, but after college I stopped dancing because of a busy schedule and not very many opportunities for adult dance classes. It broke my heart to not be dancing regularly for so many years.
What TDW Means to Me:
Finding Jules and the community of dancers she’s created with The Dancer’s Workout has changed my life, and it truly feels like I’m complete again. Being able to dance with the other amazing lifelong dancers in TDW in an empowering, fun, supportive environment has added so much joy and balance into my life! It’s a great physical workout and an emotional, creative outlet as well – plus getting to laugh with and get to know other women with so many different stories but the same relationship to dance is truly awesome. I’m so grateful to have TDW in my life, and I am excited to see it grow and change more and more lives!
